Up to $2,000 per child ($500 initial + $100/year until age 15)

Who is it for?

  • Family income under $53,359
  • Must have children under 15
  • Must file an income tax return

How to Apply

  1. 1Get a Social Insurance Number (SIN) for your child
  2. 2Open an RESP account at a bank, credit union, or certified provider
  3. 3Apply for the Canada Learning Bond when opening the RESP
  4. 4The bond is automatically deposited into the RESP
